Remote Azure Solutions Architect - Presales

Description:

• TTEC Digital is seeking a Solution Principal – Azure Data to drive the sales process by designing and presenting Azure-based data analytics and infrastructure solutions.
• The role involves partnering with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose tailored Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Responsibilities include designing, architecting, and presenting solutions using Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks.
• The position requires leading client-facing technical discussions, demonstrations, and proof of concept (POC) sessions to showcase Azure’s capabilities.
• The candidate will provide expert advice on Azure architecture, scalability, security, data governance, and cost optimization.
• The role includes responding to RFIs/RFPs by creating technical proposals and collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop new offerings.
• Conducting technical workshops, webinars, and presentations to educate clients and internal teams about Azure services is also part of the job.
• Staying current on Azure’s evolving technology stack and trends in data analytics is essential.
• The candidate will support the transition of projects from pre-sales to post-sales teams and work directly with the Azure Sales organization to grow Microsoft Field Sales relationships.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or data analytics with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• A proven track record of designing and delivering Microsoft Azure data and infrastructure solutions in a pre-sales environment is necessary.
• Previous Azure Delivery experience working with multi-disciplinary teams is required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake, is essential.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture design and implementation, including high-availability, scalability, and disaster recovery in Azure, is required.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles on Azure is necessary.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance within cloud environments (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is required.
• Experience in cloud cost management and optimization techniques is necessary.
• Hands-on knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Bicep, Terraform, Ansible, AzCLI) is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach are necessary.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is required.

• The position offers a salary range of $150,000 - $185,000 a year.
