• Our client is seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join their tech recruitment platform team in a fully remote capacity.
• In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power their web applications.
• You will collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of their platform.
• Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications using languages such as Python, Java, or PHP.
• You will create and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and security.
• You will develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the front end and back end of applications.
• Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing optimizations to enhance speed and reliability will be part of your duties.
• You will work closely with front-end developers to ensure that the application meets user requirements and functions seamlessly.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and processes for future reference is essential.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You must have 3+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or PHP is necessary.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL is required.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies is essential.
