Description:
- Refactor and upgrade existing Python codebase to AWS SAM applications.
- Develop backend features of the primary web application using AWS SAM.
- Extend and maintain the RESTful HTTP API to ensure compatibility with both legacy and new systems.
- Implement and manage service deployments and rollbacks utilizing AWS SAM.
- Design and estimate new features based on customer requirements, with a focus on AWS services.
- Investigate and resolve defects in the application code.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for addressing service issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in web application development, specifically cloud-based applications.
- Demonstrated experience in refactoring Python code into AWS SAM applications.
- Strong knowledge of Linux.
- Experience in relational database design and query operations.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, and their impact on scalable web service design.
- Proficiency in AWS, particularly in AWS SAM and cloud resource management.
- Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Docker and traditional server operations.
