Description:

Refactor and upgrade existing Python codebase to AWS SAM applications.
Develop backend features of the primary web application using AWS SAM.
Extend and maintain the RESTful HTTP API to ensure compatibility with both legacy and new systems.
Implement and manage service deployments and rollbacks utilizing AWS SAM.
Design and estimate new features based on customer requirements, with a focus on AWS services.
Investigate and resolve defects in the application code.
Participate in an on-call rotation for addressing service issues.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in web application development, specifically cloud-based applications.
Demonstrated experience in refactoring Python code into AWS SAM applications.
Strong knowledge of Linux.
Experience in relational database design and query operations.
Understanding of networking, DNS, and their impact on scalable web service design.
Proficiency in AWS, particularly in AWS SAM and cloud resource management.
Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of Docker and traditional server operations.
