Remote Back-End Developer - Colombia

Description:

• The Back-End Developer will be responsible for actively participating in the planning, design, and implementation of software solutions.
• Responsibilities include writing REST APIs for encrypted data transmission, building front-end websites following corporate design standards, designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to meet business needs, and collaborating with managers to understand project requirements and user needs.

Requirements:

• 100% fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a back-end web developer position.
• 2-5 years of work experience as a Back-End Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, writing APIs, Zapier, HubSpot, PHP, API/Web Services Development & Integrations, jQuery, AJAX, CRM Systems, Git Version Control, and application infrastructure.
• Ability to solve design problems independently, knowledge of data authentication and security technologies, integrating back-end code with services like WordPress and HubSpot, and web scraping.
• Must have a computer/laptop as the company does not provide equipment.
• Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, experience in the fintech industry, positive attitude, proactive approach, strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, prioritize workload, attention to detail, self-motivation, and success in dealing with programming problems.
