Remote Back-End Developer

Description:

• CHOOOSE is seeking a Back-End Developer to join their climate tech company that provides digital solutions for decarbonization programs in sectors like aviation, shipping, and logistics.
• The company has raised $50M from leading venture capital and strategic investors and works with global enterprises like Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, and British Airways.
• The Back-End Developer will work in a small, growing tech team to develop digital products in collaboration with business and marketing teams.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the CHOOOSE architecture, planning, design, and implementation of software, writing high-quality code, and fostering a good DevOps and remote culture.
• The ideal candidate should be open to new technologies, self-driven, and fluent in English.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development.
• Proficiency in Azure (Azure functions), C#/.net, Python, and DevOps/InfraOps.
• Experience in maintaining and scaling complex services, integrations, and enterprise-grade deliverables.
• Knowledge of security and/or e-commerce & transactions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are required.
