Description:

• The company is seeking a Back-End Developer for an educational game aimed at transforming the US test prep industry.

• The developer will manage databases by saving and organizing questions in the correct JSON format and ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of data.
• They will set up systems for uploading, storing, and retrieving images and videos, making content easily accessible for Unity developers.
• The role requires close collaboration with Unity developers to ensure seamless integration of backend data and quick troubleshooting of any data or API issues.
• The developer will maintain the backend by performing regular updates and optimizations, monitoring performance, and fixing any issues.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java, and experience with backend frameworks like Django, Flask, or Express.js is required.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is essential.
• Expertise in creating RESTful APIs and working with JSON, including nested data and rich text formatting is necessary.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying and maintaining backend services is required.
• Familiarity with multimedia storage and management in mobile applications is important.
• The candidate should have skills in debugging back-end issues that impact Unity performance and collaborating with Unity developers to optimize API calls and data exchanges.
