Remote Back-end Developer (Remote, Colombia and Mexico Only)

Description:

• RareCircles is seeking a Back-end Developer for a remote position available only to candidates in Colombia and Mexico.
• The role involves working full-time during Eastern Standard Time hours.
• The company is focused on enhancing customer experiences for independent retailers across North America.
• The developer will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing systems of upstream services using the latest back-end technologies.
• Responsibilities include evaluating new tools and technologies, maintaining and extending existing services, scaling cloud infrastructure, and promoting best practices within the team.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in building highly optimized back-end solutions using Golang, Protobuf, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing resources in Google Cloud Platform using Terraform IAC or similar is required, along with experience managing a Kubernetes cluster.
• Experience in building back-end APIs and integrations with CRMs such as Zapier, Quickbooks, Hubspot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures is essential.
• Candidates should have strong experience in writing reliable, performant, maintainable, and testable code with proper abstraction.
• Experience in building communication and telephony products, such as Twilio API, Email/SMTP, SMS, and VoIP, is a plus.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.
• Proficiency in English with good writing and communication skills is necessary.
• Candidates must be willing to work in the Eastern Standard North American time zone.
