Remote Back End Developer (Ruby) - Entry Level

Description:

• Sensor Tower is seeking an Entry Level Back End Developer (Ruby) to join their London R&D team, which operates in a full-time remote capacity.
• The role involves participating in the full development life cycle, including design, implementation, quality polish, and release.
• The developer will leverage their strengths to work on full feature implementation from the front end to the API and back end.
• Responsibilities include developing and optimizing high-performance data aggregation and analysis pipelines at scale.
• The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should have a passion for software development and be able to share meaningful GitHub contributions or personal projects.

Requirements:

• A strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design is required.
• Understanding of RESTful systems and the principles of good API design is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of cloud environments is expected.
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is required, or proficiency in Python with a willingness to learn Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with Clickhouse, MongoDB, Sidekiq, TypeScript, React.js, and ES6 is considered a plus.
