Description:

The Back End Developer (Ruby) - Entry Level position at Sensor Tower in Poland focuses on efficiently scaling database operations and supporting the growing amount of data, which can reach tens of terabytes.
Engineers in this role are expected to gather meaningful data and insights to ensure the best possible products and features are built to support users.
The position offers the opportunity to participate in the full development life cycle, including design, implementation, quality polish, and release.
Responsibilities include working on full feature implementation from the front end to the API and back end, as well as developing and optimizing high-performance data aggregation and analysis pipelines at scale.

Requirements:

Candidates should have meaningful GitHub contributions and other coding samples.
A strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design is required.
Understanding of RESTful systems and principles of good API design is essential.
Familiarity with the basics of cloud environments is necessary.
Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is a must, or candidates should be proficient in Python and willing to learn Ruby on Rails.
Nice to have skills include experience with Clickhouse, MongoDB, Sidekiq, TypeScript, React.js, and ES6.
