Remote Back-end Developer with integration focus (EU only!)

Description:

• TeamPilot.io is seeking a Back-end Developer with an integration focus for a Swedish-German e-commerce company.
• The company specializes in selling and manufacturing wooden products for garden life across 11 European countries.
• The role involves migrating from Lobster_data to an open-source solution.
• You will collaborate closely with the company's CTO to clarify the backlog and develop efficient technical solutions.
• The CTO will provide clearly defined tasks, but you are encouraged to share your own ideas and opinions.
• The e-commerce platform utilizes Shopware 6 stores and a modern frontend based on PHP and JavaScript.
• Your initial task will be to plan and execute the migration from Lobster_data to an alternative open-source solution.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have several years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and JavaScript with a focus on back-end development is required.
• Proven experience with middleware solutions and data integration is essential.
• You must be able to implement and manage data communication effectively.
• Experience working with different data formats and EDI (electronic data interchange) is necessary.
• Good communication skills in English are required.
• The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, structured, and organized.
• A big bonus would be having experience with Lobster_data or similar middleware and working in the e-commerce industry.
• Candidates must have EU citizenship and reside within the EU.
