Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing web applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement front-end user interfaces and intuitive user experiences.
  • Write clean, secure, and efficient code to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software functionality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the software development process.
  • Complete all technical tasks assigned in each sprint.
  • Understand and improve all code bases currently under development.
  • Keep products up to date with new technology.
  • Assist in product releases, revisions, patches, and code reviews.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues with existing code.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams within the organization.
  • Research new technology and best solutions for each problem.
  • Be transparent in sprint planning/retrospectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with heavy back end experience designing and developing web applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Superb verbal and electronic communication skills.
  • Experience with DevOps - prefer AWS.
  • Understanding of security principles and architecture.
  • Prior experience in Risk, Underwriting, and/or Payments Industry is preferred.
