Minware is a self-funded seed-stage company looking for individuals who share their values to expand their audience after initial customer traction.
As a Back End Engineer, you will work directly with the founders to build the product from the ground up.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end applications.
The ideal candidate should enjoy executing complex projects and building scalable, maintainable software.
Responsibilities include independently designing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
You will collaborate with product managers and customers to define the capabilities of minware.
The role also involves designing and architecting new system components and managing a backlog of tech debt reduction and internal efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience building and maintaining a complex back-end application.
Familiarity with principles of high-quality code, including continuous integration, declarative, and functional programming is required.
Strong communication skills are necessary for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with customers.
Applicants should be well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes.
Experience with the core stack (Postgres, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL) or similar technologies is preferred.
Proficiency with infrastructure tools such as AWS and Terraform is optional but considered a plus.
