Remote Back-end Engineer

Description:

• The Back-end Engineer position at ALTER SOLUTIONS in Brussels, Belgium involves joining the Digital Transformation Division to work on software solution development for clients.
• Responsibilities include creating designs and codes for back-end software applications.

Requirements:

• A Bac+5 degree in computer science (Engineering school, University, or equivalent) is required.
• Significant experience within a development team at the scale of a large company's IT system is necessary.
• Good communication skills, analytical, and synthesis skills are essential.
• Staying informed on the latest developments is a priority.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C#, C++, Java) with knowledge of SQL (Oracle DB) and Python as a plus.
• Interest in financial markets, with experience in equity and derivatives being advantageous but not required.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch is mandatory.
