Description:

  • Minware is a self-funded seed-stage company seeking to expand its audience after initial customer traction.
  • As a Back End Engineer, you will work directly with the founders to build the product from the ground up.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end applications.
  • The ideal candidate should enjoy executing complex projects and building scalable, maintainable software.
  • Responsibilities include independently designing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • You will collaborate with product managers and customers to define the capabilities of minware.
  • The role also involves designing new system components and managing a backlog of technical debt reduction and internal efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience building and maintaining complex back-end applications.
  • Familiarity with high-quality code principles, including continuous integration and declarative and functional programming, is required.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and customers.
  • Candidates should be well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes.
  • Experience with the core stack (Postgres, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL) or similar technologies is preferred.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure tools such as AWS and Terraform is optional but considered a plus.
