Description:
Minware is a self-funded seed-stage company that provides development observability software to improve visibility in the software development process.
The role of Back End Engineer involves working directly with the founders to build the product from the ground up.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
The position requires close collaboration with product managers and customers to define the capabilities of minware.
The engineer will also design and architect new system components and manage a backlog of technical debt reduction and internal efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience building and maintaining a complex back end application.
Familiarity with principles of high-quality code, including continuous integration, declarative and functional programming, is required.
Strong communication skills are necessary for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with customers.
Candidates should be well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes.
Experience with the core stack (Postgres, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL) or similar technologies is preferred.
Proficiency with infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) is optional but considered a plus.
