Description:

Minware is a self-funded seed-stage company that provides development observability software to improve visibility in the software development process.
The company was founded by Kevin Borders, who previously grew a company to $86 million in revenue before selling it in 2021.
As a Back End Engineer, you will work directly with the founders to build the product from the ground up.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end applications.
You will independently execute complex projects and build scalable, maintainable software.
Responsibilities include ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of server-side applications, working with product managers and customers to define capabilities, designing new system components, and managing tech debt reduction.

Requirements:

You must have experience building and maintaining a complex back end application.
Familiarity with high-quality code principles, including continuous integration and functional programming, is required.
Strong communication skills are necessary for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and customers.
You should be well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes.
Experience with the core stack (Postgres, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL) or similar technologies is preferred.
Proficiency with infrastructure tools like AWS and Terraform is optional but considered a plus.

Competitive compensation packages are based on industry benchmarks for function and level, with base compensation ranging from $120,000 to $190,000 USD.
