Remote Back-End Engineer (JavaScript) - Latam

Description:

• Puzzle is seeking a Back-End Engineer (JavaScript) with expertise in Marketplace and Auction functionalities to assist in developing advanced software solutions.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend systems, integrating Stripe for secure transactions, designing marketplace/auction features, collaborating with teams, ensuring system performance, addressing security vulnerabilities, and participating in code reviews.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of backend engineering experience, proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, Mongo, and Typescript, experience with Stripe, strong database and data modeling skills, knowledge of microservices and RESTful APIs, familiarity with Recoil framework, PWAs, and Redis, E-commerce & Retail development experience, understanding of authentication mechanisms, ability to write clean code, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required for this position.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, Mongo, Typescript.
• Experience developing marketplace AND auction functionalities.
• Experience with Stripe or similar payment platforms.
• Strong understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Recoil framework, PWAs, and Redis.
• Experience in developing E-commerce & Retail solutions.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and adhere to coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
