Description:

Deel is seeking a Back-End Engineer (Node.js + AWS) for Mid/Senior level positions in India.
The company is dedicated to helping businesses hire globally, with a team of over three thousand individuals across 100 countries.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in product planning, developing and enhancing features, and providing a customer-centric experience.
Candidates will work closely with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
Responsibilities include developing robust new features, APIs, and continuously improving products while ensuring quality engineering.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript, along with experience in at least one other server-side language.
A deep understanding of SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, is required for handling query optimization, data migrations, and database modeling.
Applicants should possess a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns, with experience in building and extending classes.
Experience in designing scalable systems to manage rapid growth and high-volume performance is essential.
Candidates must have proven expertise in optimizing systems for large transaction volumes and building secure, scalable APIs.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer is required.
