Remote Back End Software Engineer II (Remote)

Description:

• The Back End Software Engineer II will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Microsoft technologies with minimal supervision.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications, performing routine programming assignments, understanding assigned applications and business knowledge, following departmental procedures and programming standards, conducting unit testing, providing time estimates for tasks, recommending improvements, working independently, mentoring junior programmers, refactoring legacy components, and communicating directly with product owners and end users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience; high school diploma required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in computer programming with expertise in ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, SQL.
• Experience in web development programming in a client/server setup.
• Proficiency in relational database design, writing queries, and stored procedures with MySQL or Microsoft SQL.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coding.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Development in large enterprise applications.
• Experience with web services preferred.
• Knowledge of XSLT and XML required.
• Experience with HTTP, C#, and SQL optimization.
• Ability to interact positively, maintain cooperative relationships, and display excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills for effective organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Exercise strict confidentiality in all matters.
