Description:

The role is for a Back-End Software Engineer focusing on the Public API team, with options to work in Riga, Tallinn, remotely, Poland, Barcelona, or London.
The position involves developing and optimizing critical API systems across the merged platforms of Printful and Printify.
The engineer will collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and other engineers to build new features, enhance performance, and ensure the reliability of the API platform.
Daily tasks include developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services, collaborating with product teams, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, ensuring code quality, and improving observability systems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong experience with PHP (5+ years) and frameworks like Laravel and Yii.
Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is required.
Proficiency in API paradigms and tools like REST, OpenAPI, JsonAPI, and OAuth is necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently are essential.
A passion for collaboration, clean code, and continuous learning is expected.
