Description:

Collaborate closely with senior engineers to design and implement robust backend systems from the ground up.
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.
Optimize database design and queries for efficiency and scalability.
Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive user data.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
Attend weekly syncs with the founding team to assess project priorities and align on product roadmap.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
Take ownership of projects and lead technical initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer building consumer-facing applications is required.
Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience with GraphQL is necessary.
A solid understanding of database technologies, particularly MySQL, is essential.
Experience with version control systems, especially Git, is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, is needed.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required.
