  • The company is seeking a Backend Developer to join their Development team as soon as possible.
  • The Backend Developer will work on various projects and collaborate with different areas such as Back, Front, UI, UX, QA, and SEO.
  • The mission includes contributing to the development and maintenance of efficient and scalable functionalities, ensuring quality code and good system performance.
  • Responsibilities include creating and improving backend applications, microservices, APIs, and managing server processes.
  • Collaboration with the team is essential to integrate the backend with the frontend and other services, ensuring stability and efficiency.
  • The daily structure involves using frameworks such as Typescript, JavaScript, NodeJS, and NestJS.
  • The role includes acting as a technical leader for the assigned product team and overseeing backend development in terms of service security.
  • The developer will ensure projects meet functional, security, and performance requirements.
  • Responsibilities also include assisting with testing, debugging, documentation, and overall quality control of projects.
  • The developer will help establish best coding practices and conduct periodic code reviews.
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams to efficiently meet technical project needs is required.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and assisting in resolving technical issues is also part of the role.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have experience as a Backend Developer and a desire to grow.
  • They should be capable of reliably estimating project workload at the project, feature, and task levels.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure is required.
  • Proficiency in frameworks or languages like Typescript, JavaScript, NodeJS, and NestJS is necessary.
  • Experience integrating AI models into backend applications using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) or managing data pipelines for machine learning is a plus.
  • Knowledge of backend design patterns, development processes, security/vulnerability management, and common infrastructure configuration is essential.
  • The candidate should value good design and security practices.
  • Effective and friendly communication is important.
  • A desire to build trust within the team and maintain a positive work environment despite a fast-paced setting is crucial.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with other teams, valuing personal and collective growth.

Benefits:

  • The salary range is between €27,000 and €32,000 gross annually.
  • Employees receive 23 days of vacation, which are considered sacred.
  • A day off on their birthday is provided, along with celebratory gifs. If the birthday falls on a weekend, it is still honored.
  • Half-day work (and half-day vacation) is offered on December 24 and 31 to prepare for evening celebrations.
  • Reduced hours on Fridays to enjoy the weekend better.
  • Intensive work hours from June 15 to September 15 to enhance summer enjoyment.
  • The company supports remote work within Spain and does not privilege in-person attendance.
