Remote Backend Developer

Description:

• 1Password is seeking Developers for various tech teams including Infrastructure Foundations, Billing and Payments, and Stateful Systems.
• The Infrastructure Foundations team focuses on making it easy for product delivery teams to spin up new services quickly without complexities like Terraform and Helm.
• The Billing and Payments team manages financial transactions with customers, ensuring accurate invoices and timely delivery.
• The Stateful Systems team handles non-ephemeral back-end systems running 1password, including databases, caches, queueing/streaming, and search.
• The role requires 2+ years of software development experience, a drive for best practices, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a passion for testing and debugging.
• Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software systems, collaborating with teams/stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, participating in planning, writing comprehensive tests, reviewing code, documenting processes, staying informed about industry trends, and being available for on-call work.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in software development best practices and coding standards.
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
