Description:

Wargaming Data Warehouse is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to maintain, develop, and scale their internal Data Management platform, which is based on the open-source DataHub solution.
The role involves significant autonomy and full ownership over the platform, with a leadership position in the design, development, and deployment of new features.
This position is crucial for leveraging data to drive innovation and enhance AI adoption within the organization.
The developer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable and robust technical solutions.
Responsibilities include owning the design and architecture of the Data Management platform, designing and developing new features including API services using Golang, optimizing data ingestion and processing, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, documenting technical details, and contributing to other data-focused internal applications.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Swarm is required.
Proficiency in Golang and Python is essential.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git is necessary.
Candidates should be proficient with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and have knowledge of Elasticsearch for data indexing.
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the entire backend development lifecycle, from design to production, is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision are essential.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Additional skills that will help candidates stand out include experience with GraphQL APIs, hands-on experience with Nginx, experience with SQL, Snowflake, and the Big Data ecosystem, familiarity with Java and Spring (Boot) framework, prior experience with DataHub or similar solutions, and a portfolio of projects demonstrating skills and experience.
