Remote Backend Developer

Description:

• The company is a leading creative engineering company working with top brands and technology leaders since 2008.
• The position involves developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Responsibilities include writing clean, testable, and efficient code in TypeScript, designing RESTful APIs, and working with microservices architecture.
• The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, working with SQL and NoSQL databases, implementing caching strategies, and contributing to infrastructure scaling and performance tuning.
• Utilization of Azure Cloud services and Terraform for infrastructure as code is preferred.
• Participation in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging applications to resolve issues is required.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Node.js and Nest.js for backend development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks, especially Jest, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, excellent problem-solving skills, and knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques.
