Description:

Develop robust error-handling mechanisms to ensure the resilience of applications.
Implement effective logging and monitoring solutions for timely error detection and resolution.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues to provide quick and efficient resolutions.
Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business requirements.
Optimize Java Virtual Machine (JVM) sizing for improved performance and resource utilization.
Manage application configurations and ensure proper version control.
Work with cloud-based solutions and containerization technologies to deploy and scale applications.

Requirements:

The candidate must have 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
The candidate should be an experienced Azure Cloud Application Developer with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Flyway, and SQL.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust applications on the Azure cloud platform.
The candidate must design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
The candidate should implement best practices for code quality, performance, and scalability, and deploy and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Proven experience with Azure Cloud services, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), is required.
Hands-on experience with Flyway for database migrations is necessary.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools is expected.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, are essential.
The candidate must collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field is required.

The compensation for this position ranges from $58 to $69 per hour on W2.
