Description:

Oowlish is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join their team and help build scalable, modern serverless applications using GraphQL and the AWS Serverless stack.
The role involves working on mission-critical projects that impact public-facing platforms, focusing on clean architecture, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing GraphQL APIs, developing and deploying serverless applications using AWS services, ensuring scalability and reliability of backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing CI/CD workflows, and proactively identifying performance bottlenecks and security concerns.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in backend development.
Proven experience in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs is required.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as AppSync, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and Step Functions is essential.
Hands-on experience with serverless application development and deployment is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code tools is a must.
Nice to have includes exposure to frontend technologies like React and Next.js, experience with caching strategies, CDN (CloudFront), S3 static asset hosting, and knowledge of observability tools and monitoring for serverless applications.
