The Backend Developer role focuses on working with IBM AS400, Cobol, and RPG in large-scale environments.
Candidates must have solid knowledge of IBM AS400 and Cobol, as well as experience in system development and maintenance.
The position requires experience with DB2 databases, MQ Queues, and Control-M.
The role involves creating and maintaining ETL programs for large datasets and integrating applications with point-of-sale systems and hardware/software management.
A strong understanding of data formats such as CSV and XML, along with relational database design and coding skills, is essential.
Experience with mainframe programming languages like CLP and RPG is a plus, but practical knowledge of Cobol is mandatory.
Requirements:
Candidates must have practical experience as a Systems Analyst in large-scale environments using IBM AS400, Cobol, and RPG.
Solid knowledge of IBM AS400 and Cobol, as well as system development and maintenance processes, is required.
Experience with DB2 databases and handling MQ Queues and Control-M is necessary.
Candidates should have expertise in creating and maintaining ETL programs for large datasets.
Experience in integrating applications with point-of-sale systems and managing hardware/software is mandatory.
