Remote Backend Developer (Node.js)

Description:

• A Ukrainian media product is seeking an experienced Back-End Developer to work on new features and develop a media resource for showcasing fresh and reliable news.
• The platform allows various media outlets to distribute fresh news to selected systems and resources (not MVP).
• You will be part of a cohesive team of talented and ambitious Ukrainian specialists, including PM, Back-end, Front-end, QA, and web designers.
• Responsibilities include refining the product's architecture and functionality, strategizing the project, brainstorming actively with the team, developing and managing the BE part of the project, and defining optimal architecture.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Understanding of server architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Strong experience working with Node.js.
• Proficiency in Git.
• A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with Ember.js is a plus.
• Sense of humor and a love for the arts are appreciated.
