Remote Backend Developer (Node.js)

Description:

• Design, program, and test software while supporting team members' growth
• Create and maintain documentation for developers, clients, and users to foster innovation
• Develop and refine prototypes to validate requirements
• Program based on project plans and sprints
• Conduct testing as per predetermined test plans
• Manage release and post-release activities, including support and maintenance
• Collaborate with designers to develop interfaces following Google design guidelines
• Build mobile APIs and web applications for mobile and browser clients
• Conduct peer code reviews and learn from feedback
• Provide technical insights to sales and project managers for project budgets and schedules
• Promote the company, increase market exposure, and enhance team credibility
• Deliver high-quality work and explore innovative approaches to meet objectives
• Participate in code/development meetings and maintain code for internal and client projects
• Collaborate with the QA team on bug fixes and develop reusable code and libraries

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of software delivery experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Passion for user and developer experiences
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Node.js, Java, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of design patterns, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, and related technologies
• Familiarity with web technology stack, including HTTP, caching, headers, cookies, and client-server interactions
• Experience with SlackAPIs and third-party integrations
• Emphasis on testing, quality, and behavior-driven development
• Knowledge of CS concepts like APIs, microservices, data structures, and optimization
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
