Remote Backend Developer Node.Js Semi Senior

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer Node.js with at least 3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing robust and scalable applications, working in a collaborative environment alongside other developers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• You will implement and maintain microservices using Node.js.
• Ensuring code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, and functional tests) is essential.
• You will work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Optimizing applications for high availability and performance is a key task.
• You will manage integration with cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Participating in software architecture planning and review is expected.
• You will technically lead younger teams and guide them in best development practices.

Requirements:

• Essential Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
  • Advanced English (C1) is required as you will work with clients in the USA.
  • Experience in designing microservices-based architectures is necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is required.
  • Proficiency in version control tools such as Git is essential.
  • Experience working with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is required.
  • Experience in cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), specifically with Lambda, S3, or similar services is necessary.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is required.

• Soft Skills:

  • Skills to coordinate with technical stakeholders are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems is necessary.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required.

• Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
  • Experience with Nest.js or other Node.js frameworks is desirable.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions is a plus.

• Contract Details:

  • The position is for a contractor/freelancer.
  • The client has a short project (2 months) with the potential to extend to 6 months, and another project that is a minimum of 12 months (1 year).
