Remote Backend Developer Node.Js Senior

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer Node.js with at least 5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing robust and scalable applications, working in a collaborative environment alongside other developers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Your responsibilities include designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, implementing and maintaining microservices using Node.js, and ensuring code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, and functional tests).
• You will work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), optimize applications for high availability and performance, manage integration with cloud services (AWS, GCP), participate in software architecture planning and review, and technically lead younger teams while guiding them in best development practices.

Requirements:

• Essential Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
  • Advanced English (C1) is required as you will work with clients in the USA.
  • Experience in designing microservices-based architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience working with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience in cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), specifically with Lambda, S3, or similar services.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to coordinate with technical stakeholders.
  • Capacity to work independently and solve complex problems.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Desirable Requirements:
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Experience with Nest.js or other Node.js frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
