Remote Backend Developer (PHP & Laravel)

Description:

• Patchstack is seeking a Backend Developer with experience in PHP and Laravel to enhance web application security.
• The role is fully remote, but candidates must be based in Europe.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be in the EEST timezone (+/- 2 hours).
• Proficiency in PHP and Laravel is required.
• Familiarity with tools such as PHPCS and PHPStan is necessary.
• A good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is expected.
• Experience with SQL and the ability to write performant queries is required.
• Knowledge of SQL schema design and normalization is essential.
• Understanding of MVC frameworks and Single Page Applications (SPA) is needed.
• Experience with version control systems like Git is required.
• Candidates should be able to write clean, reusable code with a focus on security and performance.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Outstanding communication skills are essential.
