Description:

STGC Technologies Consulting is seeking a full-time remote Backend Development Technical Lead (Python/Django).
The Technical Lead will oversee backend development projects and lead a team of developers.
The role involves ensuring the technical quality and delivery of solutions.
Candidates must reside in and be legally allowed to work in Canada.
The position requires working during eastern time working hours.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience developing REST APIs in Python with the Django framework.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience interacting with relational databases, preferably Postgres, is required.
Candidates should have at least 3+ years of experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience leading a team of developers, including performing code reviews and mentoring team members, is necessary.
Experience with AWS EKS and other AWS services is considered an asset.
Candidates must demonstrate solid proficiency in developing secure, performant, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions and designs for complex requirements.
A strong understanding of software development principles is required.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
Candidates must be self-motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a talented team of professionals.
