Remote Backend Engineer

Description:

• Superside is seeking a Backend Engineer to contribute to building a collaboration platform for their globally distributed team and customers.
• The role involves developing product features like chat, staffing, project management, design collaboration, integrations, and briefing in a secure and scalable manner.
• The Backend Engineer will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to create exceptional customer experiences.
• Responsibilities include creating technical specifications, testing/rollout plans, and improving application performance through best coding practices and database management.
• The position requires active participation in technical discussions, innovative problem-solving, and continuous technical growth.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have experience in modern web development.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Kotlin and Spring or related backend frameworks is required.
• Proficiency in unit, functional, and end-to-end testing is essential.
• Critical thinking skills, eagerness to solve complex problems creatively, and a strong work ethic are necessary.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, independent, and possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
