Description:

The Backend Engineer will join the Innovation team to work on new products in Sportradar’s portfolio.
The team focuses on launching, developing, validating, and leading new product ideas using cutting-edge technologies like computer vision, machine learning, and data science.
One of the products the team works on is QuickBets, a microbetting application that processes data collected by the Computer Vision system and generates odds.
The team consists of approximately 10 members, including Software Engineers, Data Scientists, a QA Specialist, and a Product Owner.
The Backend Engineer will be responsible for developing new functionality, improving product quality, and increasing the speed of delivery.
Technologies used include Python (Fastapi), RabbitMQ/Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, and GitlabCI.

Requirements:

The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in backend development using Python and asynchronous frameworks.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases is required.
Experience in object-oriented design, multithreading, and asynchronous programming is necessary.
Familiarity with information security and DevOps practices is expected.
