Description:

Tarro is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Engineering team in a remote capacity.
The role involves building reliable, performant, and well-integrated systems and products for customers.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and will be responsible for developing high-quality products from the ground up.
The position offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on large scope projects spanning multiple products.
The engineer will take ownership of their work, write a lot of code, and iterate quickly.
Collaboration with Product Managers and other stakeholders is essential to advance the product vision and drive expansion into new opportunities.

Requirements:

The candidate must have 2+ years of relevant experience in building large-scale applications or similar experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who thrives in an environment with technical freedom.
A willingness to work across the stack and learn Rust is essential.
The candidate should be passionate about solving customer problems and building products from the ground up.
Preference is given to candidates who enjoy an environment with limited meetings, processes, and formal reviews.

The base salary range for this role is $180,000- $250,000 USD, plus equity.
