The role of Backend Engineer involves working on challenging problems in backend application development, algorithms, system design, and serving in production.
Responsibilities include designing abstractions to minimize custom code, managing data across multiple systems, and working with a cutting-edge tech stack including Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and AWS.
The engineer will evaluate operational feasibility, take accountability for quality and security, review code from other developers, contribute to documentation, and seek innovation opportunities.
As an early team member, the engineer will help shape the company culture, engineering practices, and product.

Requirements:

Candidates must be great problem solvers and passionate about building software.
A deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems is required.
At least 3 years of experience in software engineering is necessary.
