Pixaera is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with a strong background in Go to join their team.
The role involves tackling complex technical challenges, optimizing performance, and managing projects from concept through to production.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fully remote environment.
Effective communication skills are essential for proposing iterative solutions and achieving consensus with peers.
Experience with NodeJS, GraphQL, and gRPC is considered a plus.

Requirements:

Proven experience with Go is required.
Candidates must have the ability to clearly communicate complex technical, architectural, and organizational issues.
Experience with performance and optimization problems, including diagnosing and preventing these issues, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working in agile environments with an iterative software development process.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fully remote organization.
Experience in owning a project from concept to production, including discovery, discussion, and execution, is required.
Candidates must have experience writing unit and integration tests, as well as familiarity with Git and Github.
A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset is essential.
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required for success in a remote and largely asynchronous environment.
Nice to have: Experience in NodeJS, familiarity with GraphQL and gRPC, and game development experience.
