Remote Backend Engineer

Description:

• Join a dynamic team of 5 engineers as a Backend Engineer at Elevar, a leading SaaS company recently acquired by Buxton.
• Work on enhancing the product used by thousands of businesses worldwide, utilizing technologies like Typescript, React, Node, and Python.
• Contribute to a user-facing app and a data pipeline that enriches and transforms merchants' data for marketing channels.
• Collaborate with a fully remote team, shape the product roadmap, and participate in code changes, reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Work in a release-based environment with a focus on app improvements and refactors, all contained in a monorepo for shared logic.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with Node and Python, and preferably with a strongly typed language like TypeScript.
• Ability to work in a Unix environment and understanding of serverless technologies.
• Willingness to learn, open and transparent communication skills.
• Must be a US Resource with the ability to work in/around the EST time zone and possess US work authorization (green card required).
• Bonus points for familiarity with high-throughput systems, data pipelines, and experience with data engineering concepts.
