Description:
- The Ads Measurement Core team at Reddit is focused on improving the efficiency and user-friendliness of the advertising platform by creating compelling experimentation products for advertisers.
- They are seeking a Backend Engineer to assist in developing the next generation of lift study/experimentation products to help advertisers analyze the impact of their ad spend on Reddit.
- The responsibilities include developing and maintaining advertiser-facing products, contributing to backend systems development, collaborating with cross-functional partners, taking ownership of projects, and staying updated with the latest technologies in software development.
- Technologies used by the team include languages like Go and Python, frameworks like React and Thrift, datastores like Postgres and Cassandra, and tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in a highly scalable computing environment.
- Experience in backend engineering and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
