Technologies used on the team include Go, Python, Thrift, Baseplate, Kafka, Postgres, Cassandra, Druid, Redis, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Argo, and Docker.
The role plays a crucial part in helping advertisers succeed on Reddit while respecting user privacy, contributing to the growth and success of the Ads business.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field.
2+ years of full-time backend software engineering experience in a highly scalable computing environment.
Experience in backend development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions prioritizing user privacy and security.
Nice to have: prior experience in ads or signals space, familiarity with agile development methodologies, and a passion for mentorship.
