Description:
At Peach, the goal is to improve everyone's lending experience by offering an all-in-one, post-origination lending software platform that allows lenders to innovate and adapt.
The company is looking for a backend developer to help design a new FinTech system from the ground up using best-in-class tools.
The role involves building all parts of the system, including frontend, microservices, and deployments in pods on Kubernetes.
The position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the rapidly growing industry by shaping the technology stack in terms of writing, testing, monitoring, and delivery.
Responsibilities include helping to build an effective and inclusive engineering organization, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, collaborating with product and design teams to address trade-offs and scalability concerns, and participating in the backend ONCALL and incident review processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or relevant technical experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of backend agile software development experience, including experience with SAAS.
Experience in designing and building APIs is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in designing and building Microservices.
The ability to write clean, reliable code that is easily maintainable and can be tested automatically is essential.
Startup experience or experience working in small teams is preferred.
FinTech experience is considered a strong plus.
