Articul8 AI is seeking an exceptional Product/Software Engineer-Backend to join in shaping the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
Responsibilities include ensuring high availability, low latency, and cost-effectiveness in backend systems.
The engineer will be the subject matter expert in infrastructure when designing new products and introducing new technology.
Collaboration with engineering and research teams is essential to integrate infrastructure components with product features for optimal performance and user experience.
The position requires designing event-driven architectures and developing APIs and microservices for real-time processing and analytics.
Ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring, logging, and error handling mechanisms is crucial.
Staying up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies is expected to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Participation in code reviews, contributing to open-source projects, and mentoring junior engineers are part of the role.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and backend software development is required.
A BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency in programming languages and development tools such as Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, CI/CD pipelines, and version control is preferred.
Familiarity with frameworks like Django, Flask, OpenAPI, FastAPI, Spring Boot, and Express.js is advantageous.
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis is desired.
Knowledge of API management using REST and GraphQL is preferred.
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm is a plus.
A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration and communication abilities, project management aptitude, critical thinking, curiosity for continuous learning, and emotional intelligence are essential professional attributes.
