Description:

Frequence is seeking a Backend Engineer to join one of their cross-functional Agile development teams.
The role involves collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to build scalable, high-quality software while continuously improving systems and processes.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems, writing clean and maintainable code, debugging production issues, and contributing to the development of APIs and services.
The engineer will participate in architectural decisions, improve observability and system performance, and take ownership of features or systems.
Engagement with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives is also required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in backend or full-stack software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language such as Go, C#, Java, Kotlin, or Rust is necessary.
Knowledge of software design patterns and API development (REST, gRPC) is required.
Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and distributed systems is essential.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are a must.
The ability to write and review technical documentation is required.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile environment and possess excellent communication skills to discuss technical concepts with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
