Description:

Bjak is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
The role involves collaborating closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
The engineer will optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers is expected.
The engineer will troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of production systems.
Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends is also a key part of the role.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role is necessary.
Strong skills in one or more programming languages, particularly Node.js, are essential.
Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js is required.
A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles is necessary.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform, is necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
