TigerEye is a modern business intelligence platform designed for go-to-market teams, providing accurate answers to complex questions through a simple app.
The company is seeking a Backend Engineer with experience or interest in machine learning operations.
Responsibilities include working on backend applications such as data pipelines and API servers while ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
The engineer will improve the AI evaluation framework and define protocols for communication between large language models (LLMs) and traditional applications.
The role involves building and maintaining integrations with external data sources and writing SQL queries to process and transform data.
The engineer will debug complex issues across multiple applications or levels of the stack and write operational and user documentation for software systems.
Automation will be built to manage deployments across thousands of environments on various cloud service providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
The position requires maintaining a fast and reliable CI/CD pipeline for analysis, testing, and builds, as well as handling real-time troubleshooting of service interruptions.
The engineer will develop and execute both short-term and long-term roadmaps, balancing business priorities, user experiences, and the sustainability of TigerEye’s technical foundation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of professional experience in building backend services and APIs.
Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Dart, and Python, are required.
Experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries is necessary.
Candidates should have experience contributing across all phases of a software project life cycle.
A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience in cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud is essential.
