Description:

Strapi is hiring a Backend Engineer for their Developer Experience team to enhance and grow their CMS, ensuring it remains a leading open-source headless CMS.
The role involves collaborating with engineers, engineering managers, and product managers to improve product and engineering capabilities.
Key responsibilities include implementing new features and tools, making Strapi more stable and robust through effective coding and testing, and collaborating with team members throughout product development.
The engineer will also solve user issues creatively, review pull requests from community contributors, contribute to the product roadmap, and share knowledge to foster team growth.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong background in Typescript and NodeJS.
Fluency in English is required, and candidates should be located within +/- 2 hours of the CET timezone.
Experience in creating and maintaining complex APIs using REST and GraphQL is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable with database configuration and data migration.
A curious, versatile, and autonomous mindset with a passion for experimentation is essential.
Significant experience in web development and delivering high-quality, well-tested software to production is required.
A good understanding of developer experience tools, challenges, and opportunities is necessary.
Experience in supporting the growth of other engineers and a passion for mentoring is important.
Candidates should have experience working with Product Managers during the software development cycle.
