Remote Backend Engineer

• Participation in code reviews and fostering a collaborative engineering culture is essential.
• Effective communication with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7-10 years of backend engineering experience with a focus on scalable systems.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL is required.
• Experience building on top of the OpenAI API is necessary.
• A solid understanding of server-side rendering, API design, and performance optimization is expected.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks and tools, such as Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Radix UI, is important.
• Experience integrating authentication frameworks is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for experimentation and innovation are essential.
• Candidates must be able to work in a remote, asynchronous environment with strong written and verbal English communication.
