We are seeking our first Backend Engineer at Parable to play a critical role in building a product that transforms how companies understand and use their time.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience building backend services, focusing on data transformation, modeling, and integration, preferably in AI/ML workflows.
A solid understanding of building scalable, reliable, and maintainable web services is required, with experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, Rust, or Typescript.
Experience with one or more database concepts, including SQL, NoSQL, graph databases, or time series databases, is necessary.
Familiarity with data processing tools and libraries like Spark, as well as containerization technologies, is expected.
Proven experience in connecting to and working with various APIs, including SaaS APIs (REST, GraphQL), is essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
